i'm ashton addison from block west capital for investment pitch media and the Crypto Coin Show and today on blockchain interviews once again we have bezina rezab ceo and co-founder of gamey xena welcome to the show and thank you so much for taking the time to come back thank you it's great to be back like the time flies so fast and so many things changed i'm really excited to be here

definitely especially in the world of nfts have just completely exploded and expanded since we last spoke and mobile gaming as well continues to grow and the trajectory is looking good for your industry so i'm excited to hear you know all the updates that have happened since our last discussion but i would love to kick off the conversation for those who haven't seen our first

interview and don't know about gamey if you could talk a little bit about you know the solutions and the and the games and all of the fun stuff that your team is working on at gaming and then we'll dive into all those details yeah sure i would love to so maybe for those of you who have never heard about gamey maybe are not gamers yourself i will give a short

introduction i'm con co-founder of gaming and we're a mobile gaming company with a global audience we have been building games and entertainment entertainment platforms or for eight years now we have been together as a team all this time and we have been always passionate about how do we connect people through play and how do we build gamification mechanisms gamification

layer that make people excited about games and they stay with us for a longer period of time because it's in mobile games especially it's about can you keep players attention right how do you build loyalty to stay with you for overtime and this is exactly what we're good at and about two years ago we decided to start building with a new technology

that's blockchain and see how we can build this engagement and this gaming with this new tool where we can actually give players what they already had in games that some ownership and possibility to decide what they want to do with their assets so we took our platform and made it powered by blockchain now the gaming platform is called arcade we like to think about it as the

arcade of blockchain because it's it's a mobile app the player experience is playing multiple mobile games with gamification layer but the rewards are crypto tokens and there is a level that supports nft collections that give you access to extra challenges tournaments and games and we have launched arcade with our games with our token our nfts first

That got a very nice traction 1.7 million wallets activated with arcade right now 300 million gameplays every month and we have seen this like engagement and the fire like people really like that and we thought why don't we make that more true with the wet three principles like why would we only keep our energies and token with an arcade why do

we open up a little bit and see what's the response of people so this is exactly what's happening with arcade now and that is probably something we can also talk about we are opening up arcades to partners so more people more three projects can access the audience and the engagement we have very cool a great intro and yeah it that kind of traction so far and i feel like

you know where mobile gaming has become so popular and now the introduction of nfts and gamification and crypto tokens to actually earn and own the things that you have earned in the game is just taking it to the next level so it's great to hear about the traction so far already and you know you've been working on it for a while but i feel like there's so much

more to come and i feel like this industry is just going to continue to explode so great to hear about the arcade maybe you can talk a little bit about you know some of the flagship games that are on gamey and you know why they've become so popular i think one of one of the most popular games on arcade it's the game that is powered by gbot nft

characters so these are our nfts playable game characters that we released earlier this year and you need to have the game character to be able to access the game but once you have it people are very passionate and they spend a lot of time playing the games of course it's rewarded but it's tied to the nft ownership and the retention and time spent are

incredible so we have decided to take gboats to another level so there is first game live in arcade there is second one coming and they will soon have the functionality to breed and upgrade so there will be more of them available for larger gaming audience and what we have seen with that is like we kind of have this game that's again nfc game character connected to

the main platform as arcade and then you access the game tournament only for people who have the game character right they can also earn it but it's kind of an entrance ticket and we've been looking at this and we were thinking there are so many there are so many nft collections that they're maybe building the big game or they're building the like virtual world

but in the meantime what is it that the holders of the nfts are looking for right what is it that everybody wants and it's it's some type of engagement entertainment that we have on arcade so coming back to my point previously this is how how we are thinking about arcade is the first step of course is to see and to test our on ourselves how that works with our own

gboard game the second one is that we're working on right now is to offer partners that have nft collections that we can actually have some exclusive access for people who own their nfts so they can play custom tournaments custom games within arcade by holding the nfc and this way we're hoping to not only expose our gamers to more variety in

rewards nfps content but also to be able to connect our gaming audience with web3 brands you know with new projects with nft collections and like really become the arcade of the blockchain so for players this is a lot of variety for partners this is gamified utility and we're super happy to see those connections so this week actually we're launching

the first partner and more of them are lined up in the next weeks so we will be able to announce them soon that's great to hear and now with the gbots and the nfts you know a lot of people have heard first from of nfts through crypto punks and board apes and some of these nfts that are just very expensive and out of the reach of most people i'm curious with the g bots and the nft

approach with gamey in general are you trying to ensure that it's open for people that don't have money or people that just want to play the game and sort of earn their way to acquire nfts so the idea with gbot is a little bit different than exclusive nft collection so if i compare an exclusive nft collections always limited in amount and every every single

of the item is maybe even visually different for g bots the difference and the most important thing is that the attributes are different the statistics because these are game characters so each of them has different stats like health defense attacks and data is different so it can translate into multiple games with the specifics of the game character

and the thing is not to keep it a low and limited amount of these characters because the more people play the game the more engagement the more fun and that's why we have this is why we have launched 5 000 genesis game characters but they have this breeding functionality so people who have invested early on then when the breedings open they will be able to get more characters for the

games or even offer to others to enter the gameplay on us through the secondary market so the sale and making the game bigger will be done with and through the community which i think is fascinating fascinating and it's completely different than of course in normal game development we're always the sale is from the crater orange developer in this case

it will be the initial community that holds the genesis game characters they will be offering others to enter through the breeding very cool i like that and yeah it's great to have a community especially in game mobile games and if people are just sitting at home playing a game by themselves they really have to feel connected to others and not just either collecting nfts for

themselves and one other thing i saw with gbots as well was there was like a staking program that involves a cryptocurrency and possibly the nfts as well i'm not quite sure how does that work and how does that tie into gaming yep so i think that's that's a part of a big bigger plan that includes in like we have a very large free-to-play gaming application

that's aside from arcade that's from like historically we have a very large audience that knows does not know anything about blockchain and what we're seeing when when we approach them and we give them this preposition like there is a game where you own what you earn etc you have to go step by step and we see those steps being that people come to arcade and oftentimes they open

their first wallet watching wallet ever so it's we make it very easy so like they open it with a click they earn their first cryptocurrency then they get their hands on first nfts that can be used in game and then you know they have the nfd they have their first tokens so we're taking like small steps to teach them okay this is maybe how you know liquidity does work it's a big

sense taking by staking a game character you earn more tokens then you can add them to pools to create market for others so it's more like a learning path for people to discover what's possible to do with cryptocurrencies and blockchain and it's all through games and that's that's very exciting to see we have many players who have started with arcade and they're now getting more

and more experienced into using different blockchain powered concepts and that's that's very cool to see yeah that's very exciting and it's a it's a great way for people to learn more about finances in a fun way as well so thank you for doing that well it's so it's all getting this side experience but yeah for sure and with the arcade you were saying

that you're sort of opening a launch pad to allow others to come in and start their games or you know join your already existing community and sort of help out can you talk more about how that's going to work and is there going to be lots of games released or are you being very particular about what's coming out when so we would like this is coming in phases and

the phase one is we enable partners to sponsor price pools so think about launching a token even if it's an existing that was to reach while your audience get exposure to larger audience it's in a gamified way so it's it's a launchpad where the token is distributed to players based on their gaming skill and there is enough branding and there is like

discovery of the token like what it does how it works so that's the first basic basic step that's already live today the second one it's at on top and these are nfc collections so we're adding support of nfc collections so we can recognize if the player that log into logs into arcade has a specific animal in their wallet and based on that

ownership we can give them access to games or sponsor tournaments that can be fully customized so because we have a large catalog of games there are 12 live on arcade but we have hundreds of games in our free to play platform that's fully compatible so we have a large catalog of gaming content and we have this technology ready we have audience so why not right

and for the players it actually means that they're playing games they're competing in gaming tournaments and they earn different rewards and they learn about different nfc collections in a gamified way and for us as a company this is really like building bridges to other ecosystems communities and yeah i think everybody played and the last at the last third step

Is about enabling also like third-party games to be hosted on arcade but that comes as the last one as it's probably the most complicated ones and there are like so many they're not there are so many games that we can still use and we can feature and we can have people play before we can open up to third parties we would like the community to be

able to vote which games they want so before this that happens there is and that's towards the end of the year we would love to give people way how to how to own a piece of arcade and how to make decisions about which games are going to launch and how the prize pools which sponsors are going to be featured where so this is a gradual process cannot happen overnight but

that's the idea of arcade is to connect gamers investors into arcade weaponry projects in this unified space great initiative i'm looking forward to seeing how that grows out throughout this year and you know speaking of bringing in the community and giving them a say i've seen a lot of projects that are using you know for example the gamey token as a as a governance or as a

voting right to have a say is that part of the functionality of the gamey token or maybe you can talk about what is the main functionalities of gaming token in the ecosystem yep yeah absolutely so we have launched the gaming token that had functions was almost doing everything it was it was purchased it was access it was reward and also the plan is for

the governance now we're shifting most of the focus and most of the role of the gaming token around access so to be able to access the reading of g-bots to be able to enter the tournament and to pay for different price pools of tokens and nfps you need a gaming token so it's an access token and the governance feature comes at the moment where people are

going to make their gaming software that's great and now i'd love to get your opinion on you know game fi and integration of nfts into mobile gaming as a whole as an industry now we've seen nfts blow up really quickly but usually and this goes for a lot of popular games as well is there's a lot of hype and then there's sort of a lull period where it's sort of you know the hype

wears off how do you see mobile gaming and nfts growing throughout the next year to two years are you seeing do you think the trend will continue in at a fast pace or will it sort of be not as fast as we think i think that we will see more different use cases we have seen some of the most prominent ones where the nft is a digital representation of a person in

virtual space so that has been something that's been the most visible but there are so many other use cases that we will be seeing in games not only the avatars and the like representation of the gamer but actually the game characters the things inside the games including different boosters power ups different cosmetic skins and improvements but also things like season

pass that's very common in gaming and that is a great fit for nfts we have seen some of the first ones go live so there are in gaming anywhere you look everything in gaming makes sense to be tokenized if you if you start thinking in the game design with an open mind within an open economy that anything that happens within the game the asset can be swapped

and taken out of the ecosystem so once the game designer thinks this openly basically anything can in a game can be tokenized of course the same type of thinking cannot be applied on a on an existing game that was not designed with blockchain in mind but this really requires new type of economies new types of game design that's what we're mostly excited about

because we have been in gaming industry for as i said eight years and the past two have been probably the most exciting ones that is exciting and yeah you're seeing it evolve firsthand and being a part of it and you know being one of those trend setters i'm looking forward to seeing how the arcade continues to expand throughout this year thank you so much

for your time bezina i really appreciate it what is the best way for viewers to play the games learn more about the launch pad and gaming token and the whole ecosystem we're launching a new website that will have all of the information and hopefully by the time you're watching the video it's already live gaming.com otherwise if you feel like playing

open app store or google play and type arc8 arcades and give it a shot awesome sounds great i will leave the links for the app store there and the new website in the description box below all the best with everything gamey moving forward and let's follow up in the near future great thank you
