Ashton Addison
Ashton founded Crypto Coin Show in 2014 and has conducted more than 1,500 interviews with founders, executives and investors in blockchain and digital assets. He sets editorial direction, hosts the show, writes the weekly CCS Insider newsletter and reviews every original piece published under his name. He is the founder of BlockWest Media, the company that owns Crypto Coin Show and its sister title BlockWest.
The desks
News desk
Articles bylined Crypto Coin Show News Team are produced by the CCS news desk. The desk monitors primary sources (regulatory filings, court dockets, protocol governance forums, company disclosures and central bank releases) and the wire coverage of other outlets, and writes CCS's own report from the underlying documents. Original reporting, analysis and pieces built on CCS interviews are bylined to the individual author. The desk uses AI-assisted drafting tools under editorial supervision; see the AI disclosure below.
Interviews and video
The interview desk books, researches, records and edits The Crypto Coin Show and produces the episode pages, transcripts and summaries on this site. Guests are chosen editorially; paid distribution packages exist and are disclosed on the relevant pages.
Research
CCS Research publishes original analysis built from the CCS interview archive and public data. Each report states its dataset and method.
Partnerships and events
The partnerships desk manages media partnerships with conferences and the sponsorship and distribution packages listed on the advertise page. Commercial relationships never determine news coverage, and sponsored or client-supplied content is labelled as such.
Standards
Our full editorial policy sets out how we source, verify and label content. In short: we link to primary documents wherever one exists; we name the outlet when we build on another publication's reporting; we do not publish price targets or forecasts that are not attributed to a named institution or analyst; we do not accept payment for news coverage; sponsored content, press releases and client-supplied material are labelled, and any commercial link is marked as such. Staff may hold digital assets; holdings that could be seen to bear on a story are disclosed in the piece. AI disclosure
The news desk uses AI tools to draft and structure some articles from source documents and to transcribe and summarize interviews. Every published article is reviewed by a person before it goes live, all facts are checked against the underlying source, and AI-assisted pieces carry the News Team byline rather than an individual's name. We do not use AI to generate quotes, and we do not publish AI-generated images of real people or events.
Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it in the article, note the correction at the bottom of the piece with the date, and update the modified time. Material errors in a headline or a central claim are also flagged at the top. To request a correction, use the contact form with the article URL and the source that supports the change; we aim to respond within one business day.
